Maya began her insurance career as a claims adjuster at Mercury Insurance over 20 years ago. After 13 years of claims, Maya decided to move over to Underwriting. She joined Topa Insurance in November 2016 as an Underwriting Assistant. In August 2021, she was promoted to Underwriter, Commercial Auto. Maya feels lucky to work at Topa Insurance where she has had the opportunity to learn and grow.

On the weekends Maya enjoys hiking, going to the beach, camping, and spending time with her loved ones and dogs.
