Holiday Party Cancellation: Response to California Fires and efforts to support the victims
Partners, Colleagues, Family and Friends,
I know you share our concern for the extreme loss of life and the adverse impact on hundreds of thousands of people due to the California Wildfires, including those suffering from the devastation in our local community around Calabasas.
Due to these exceptional circumstances, we have decided to forego our annual holiday party scheduled for this Thursday, November 15th. This decision was made after careful consideration, hugely impart to the fluidity of the situation and the need for hotel rooms for evacuees and victims. Your safety, as well as that of our employees, vendors and neighbors always comes first.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, particularly those of you who have already made travel and accommodation plans, and look forward to hosting you at a later date.
Our industry excels in times like these; we are here to help people, businesses and communities regroup and rebuild.
Please consider making a donation to the Ventura County Community Foundation to support those impacted by the unspeakable tragedy in Thousand Oaks, as well as the Hill and Woolsey Fires or the North Valley Community Foundation to support the victims of the Camp Fire.
Again thank you for your compassion, understanding and loyalty as we support our community. We are incredibly grateful.
